Planned platform
Follow the evidence from discovery to operations
Explore the planned Service Planet lifecycle for internal IT teams and MSPs: discover and assess an environment, compare a proposed future, approve qualified actions, then verify, recover and monitor. Current evidence and future scenarios stay distinct throughout.
How the planned workflow works
Follow discovery and assessment through current state, proposed topology and cost, approval, qualified execution and verified outcomes. Read-only first is recommended sequencing, not the full scope.
Cloud, server and client plans
Review cloud and productivity-platform targets, dedicated-server agents, technical coverage and optional external AI clients. Every connection and version needs qualification.
Access and governance
Review customer boundaries, permissions, software-enforced controls and audit. Exact manual approvals and separately scoped repair policies govern different actions; each needs its own verification and recovery evidence.
Illustrative infrastructure review
Inspect a planned review structure with topology evidence, actual costs, future estimates and limitations. Historical sample PDFs remain retired compatibility notices, not current reports or proof of a working product.
Common questions
Find answers on the specialized AI assistant, web/mobile clients, monitoring, patching, optional self-healing, open-source self-hosting, optional managed hosting and separate support.
Research with sources, versions and freshness
Routine technical research is planned across server OS, Docker, Kubernetes, applications, databases, networking and public or private cloud. Guidance must identify authoritative sources, applicable versions and freshness, expose uncertainty and check compatibility, security and support lifecycle. Research informs an assessment or plan; it does not authorize an upgrade.
- Does inventory and topology cover the authorized deployments, with observed relationships, inferences, missing data and freshness labeled?
- Are actual costs and scenario estimates separate, with compatible periods, currencies, bases and explicit assumptions?
- Can reviewers trace assessments and technical guidance to sources, versions and collection or research dates?
- Does a proposed action identify exact approval, permission and fresh-state checks, outcome verification and supported recovery or escalation?

Choose the workflow for your team
MSPs need separate customer scope; internal IT teams need their own organization’s deployments. Both would use the same planned workspace and evidence standards, from the initial question through any qualified action and subsequent monitoring.
