Service Planet

Planned MSP workflows

Support each customer from assessment to verified operations

Service Planet is planned to support your MSP’s DevOps and IT infrastructure team with its own specialized AI assistant. A focused chat, topology, cost and status workspace would connect discovery and customer reviews to approved, qualified changes and ongoing monitoring, while keeping each customer’s access separate.

One customer, multiple deployments

Select the customer and authorized deployments for each review or action. A customer may span several cloud accounts and dedicated environments; inventory, findings, plans and results must retain that scope. Cross-customer analysis needs its own explicit authorization and isolation controls.

Explain current cost and future options

Connect supported inventory and topology to actual charges, then compare a proposed future topology with its own scenario estimate. Keep periods, currencies, cost bases, credits and exclusions clear. A modeled saving is not a guaranteed customer outcome.

Turn assessment into a reviewable plan

Explain the current environment and proposed options with source-backed findings. Distinguish observed relationships, inferred topology and recommendations. Technical and business summaries should share one report version, preserve MSP identity and customer context, and be reviewed before separately authorized sharing.

For later qualified execution, carry the approved customer, resource scope and plan into permission and fresh-state checks. Verify results, preserve the audit trail and use action-specific recovery when needed. Planned configurable monitoring would feed subsequent reviews; supported signals and operating details still need definition.

Examples to evaluate

  • Inventory and topology: What is running across this customer’s authorized deployments, and which relationships are observed or inferred?
  • Cost and scenarios: What are the actual charges, and how would the estimated cost and topology differ under this proposal?
  • Operations and follow-through: What must this customer approve, which changes are qualified, how will we verify the result, and what recovery or escalation path applies?

A read-only first implementation is recommended. Provider connections, dedicated-server agents, execution capabilities and optional external AI clients each need qualification; this planned workflow does not establish current availability.

Fit for a focused evaluation

Start with a review your team already performs and a customer environment you are authorized to assess. Define the required inventory, topology and cost coverage, evidence standard and measurable outcome before connecting. Keep any later execution evaluation separately scoped and approved.

Measure the value honestly

Measure preparation effort, evidence completeness and decision quality against an agreed baseline. Open-source self-hosted software, optional managed hosting and separately purchasable support are distinct from your MSP service packaging. No prices, service availability, revenue or margin outcome is promised.
