Planned platform

Discover. Plan. Approve. Verify.

Service Planet’s planned workflow connects infrastructure understanding to governed operations. Its specialized AI assistant would work alongside current and proposed topology, inventory, cost and status, helping internal IT teams and MSPs move from an evidence-backed assessment to qualified execution, verification and ongoing monitoring.

One lifecycle, with a clear gate before action

  1. Discover and assess the current state. Select your organization or MSP customer and authorized deployments. Connect qualified providers or OS agents with limited access, then inspect inventory, observed and inferred topology, actual charges and status. Show sources, freshness and gaps; keep credentials out of chat.
  2. Compare a proposed future. Build a versioned scenario with proposed topology, estimated cost, dependencies and operational impact beside the observed baseline. Separate actual charges, forecasts and estimates, with periods, currencies, cost bases and assumptions. Viewing or choosing a scenario does not approve it.
  3. Review permissions and approve the exact plan. For a supported action, confirm the organization, deployment, resources, changes, risks and recovery prerequisites. Manual execution needs human approval bound to that plan. Optional self-healing needs a separately authorized, narrowly scoped policy and runbook; a domain toggle is not blanket permission.
  4. Execute only qualified operations. Recheck permissions and current state before a later supported change, patch, removal, migration or private-cloud operation. Material drift or changed risk requires fresh approval. Apply the approved limits and maintenance controls, record progress and stop when the outcome or scope is uncertain.
  5. Verify, recover and keep monitoring. Check the actual result against the approved plan or policy-authorized runbook action using fresh evidence. If validation fails, use only the supported action-specific recovery path or escalate; inventory is not a backup and rollback is not universal. Configurable monitoring feeds the next assessment without silently enabling remediation.

A staged implementation, not a read-only product vision

A read-only first implementation is recommended, with Azure the initial qualification recommendation. Broader provider, agent and operation support must earn its own evidence before release. Planned web, iOS and Android clients and optional qualified external AI clients would use the same governed backend; no production availability is announced.

Every stage must expose missing permissions, stale evidence, unsupported resources and unresolved assumptions. An empty response does not prove an empty environment. Assessments and technical guidance retain sources, versions and freshness. Reviews and exports keep that evidence attached; sharing them requires separate authorization.
