Planned commercial model
Self-host the software. Choose hosting and support separately.
The intended model is open-source Service Planet software you can self-host, optional managed hosting and separately purchasable support, à la carte. These are independent choices, not a mandatory bundle or an available offer.
Three choices, one planned platform
Open-source software: operate Service Planet in your own environment under a license still to be selected. Managed hosting: optionally have the backend/control plane hosted for you under a future defined offer. Support: buy assistance separately, with scope and eligibility to be specified. Hosting the control plane is separate from where your workloads or OS agents run.
Software pricing is separate from infrastructure cost
Open source does not mean zero operating cost or free managed hosting. Service Planet fees, model/inference costs and optional external AI-client costs are separate from workload charges, SaaS licensing and dedicated-infrastructure costs. Actual spending, forecasts, scenario estimates and one-time migration or parallel-run costs must remain distinct. Future offers must disclose inclusions, limits, billing, renewal and cancellation terms.
No product download, specific license, feature-licensing boundary, hosting or support prices, support package, response commitment, SLA or availability date is selected. Linux installers, images or appliances and a custom distribution are packaging options to evaluate, not selected releases. Application licensing, model-weight licenses and any training-data rights need separate review.
